In landing mode it would deploy lights and landing gear, sensor range at minimum, then switch my power distribution to full shields and 2 pips in engines. I had this custom setup where the mode switch would change my setup from "landing mode", "cruise mode" and "fight mode" using the mapping software's macro function. Speaking of mode switching, I was really disappointed by the X52 mapping software. My main differences is that I used the mode switch (your "ship lights") to change fire groups so I can switch groups without letting go of the sticks. I was using pinkie trigger + button combos. I like that you used them for chaff, subsystems, and shield boost. When the cover is up, we're going safety off.Though it never occurred to me to use the wheels as "buttons".
